Who we are

Our affiliated Indian business, Right Vectors India (GSTIN 33AAYPN6591K1ZS), operates from Chennai. Where this policy says “Right Vectors”, “we” or “us”, it covers both entities; the entity you correspond or contract with is the entity responsible for your information.

What we collect

This website does not use analytics trackers, advertising cookies or third-party profiling. We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it — for example, when you email us about a market opportunity, a sourcing requirement or a representation enquiry. That information typically includes your name, company, contact details and the commercial information you include in your correspondence.

Like most websites, our server keeps standard technical logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability. We also use your IP address once, on our own server, to derive an approximate country-level location so we can show you region-appropriate legal information. That lookup happens locally against a bundled database; your IP address is not sent to, or shared with, any third party for that purpose, and the result is not used for marketing or profiling.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to assess and respond to your enquiry, to conduct counterparty qualification where a commercial engagement is contemplated, and to maintain our business records. We do not sell personal information. We share it with third parties only where necessary to progress an engagement you have asked us to pursue (for example, with specialist logistics, inspection, legal or finance partners), or where required by law.

Cross-border disclosure

We operate across Australia, India, the Gulf, Singapore and — selectively — Europe. Where progressing your enquiry requires it, correspondence may be shared between Right Vectors Australia Pty Ltd and Right Vectors India, or with counterparties and specialist partners in the relevant corridor. We take reasonable steps to ensure any recipient handles your information consistently with this policy and applicable law.

Storage and security

Correspondence is stored in commercial-grade email and document systems with access limited to Right Vectors personnel. We retain records for as long as needed for the purpose collected and for applicable legal, tax and accounting requirements in Australia and India.

Your rights — Australia

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. If you have a concern, contact us first; you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Your rights — EEA and United Kingdom

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the GDPR / UK GDPR on the legal bases of legitimate interests (responding to and progressing commercial enquiries you initiate) and, where relevant, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Transfers outside the EEA/UK (to Australia or India) are made only as needed to handle your enquiry, with appropriate safeguards applied where required.

If you are in India, Right Vectors India handles your personal data consistently with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and may raise a grievance with us using the contact below; unresolved grievances may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.
